The Inspiration Behind Umairi
Umairi was inspired by the everyday joys and challenges that come with being a pet parent. Our journey began in a small home in the heart of the UK, where we lived with our two cats, Leona and Chewie. Like many pet owners, we wanted nothing but the best for them, but we quickly realized that not all pet products lived up to their promises. From flimsy toys that didn’t last to water bowls that constantly spilled, we knew there had to be a better way to care for our pets. That's when we had an idea: why not create products that are thoughtfully designed, high-quality, and made to make life easier for both pets and their humans? And thus, Umairi was born—our labor of love for pets everywhere.

Starting Umairi wasn’t an overnight decision—it was a journey of trial, learning, and dedication. We began small, sourcing products that we would personally trust with our own pets. Each product was tested in our home, from cat fountains to cozy beds, making sure they lived up to the standards Leona and Chewie demanded (and they were very picky!).
